African Aviation Capability for African Operating Requirements

Henley Air Flight Training (HAFT) is a South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA)-approved helicopter training organisation developing rotary-wing capability for defence, security, government and parapublic operators. As an African company, HAFT  provides training solutions aligned with each client’s aircraft, personnel and mission requirements, and informed by the African continent’s terrain, infrastructure and operational environment.

Our objective is capable aircrew and sustainable organisational aviation capability.

Rotary-Wing
Training Capabilities

HAFT provides helicopter pilot training in South Africa, structured around each client’s existing capability and intended operational outcome. Programmes can progress from initial pilot development through turbine, instrument and multi-crew training to advanced operational flying, mission application and instructor development.

Cadet Development → Professional Qualifications → Advanced Training → Mission Capability → Instructor Development

This approach connects individual qualifications to crew effectiveness, operational readiness and sustainable organisational capability.
